Here we have another rare item only found on Sweetwater Dealer Select GT11's. These are a set of Sweetwater Exclusive under wound '64 Grey Bobbin Hand Wound Pickups.

If you follow my store, you know I have a particular love for Fender's hand wound '64 Grey Bobbin Pickups, these pickups are only featured on Sweetwater GT11 Guitars. They are every bit as Vintage Spec as it gets, super sweet scooped tone, under wound to let your amp sing. Here is what the Team at Fender and Sweetwater have to say:

"The Holy Grail of Strat tones is right here:

Trying to create the ultimate Strat pickup is no easy task, but Fender Custom Shop’s Mike Lewis pulled it off nicely with his Sweet ’64s. Voiced especially for the GT11, these exclusive hand-wound pickups deliver a full-range sound with fat, round lows, sparkling highs, balanced mids, and zero icepick frequencies. The pickups are under-wound, giving you unparalleled note separation and clarity. When we ran the GT11 Strat through its paces, we plugged into everything from vintage amps to high-end boutique models to uber-high-gain monsters, and the Sweet ’64s performed admirably through each. The search for the Holy Grail of Strat tones ends here."

These pickups have a very specific recipe noted on the Traveller Sheet which high lite why these particular '64s are not your average FCS set.

These come absolutely mint, with the protective plastic still on the pickguard.

*Seller's Note*

At Rock Island Line, boutique and premium is our specialty.

I personally buy from only reputable shops or vetted private sellers. All listing are meticulously pieced out from new or mint condition fully assembled guitars.

We take our time, right down to the last screw. This means you are not buying a part that is making its rounds on the web where along the way an untrained hand might have cut the nut too deep, over tightened the truss rod, leveled a fret, stripped out a screw, or worse added one.

What you get from Rock Island Line is a plug and play piece from a working guitar; properly inspected, played and painstakingly pieced out by a professional.

Buy cheap, pay twice.

We want you to know what you are can expect when choosing Rock Island Line. These parts should last a lifetime and afford your prized instrument its finishing touch or a well deserved upgrade

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests. Happy to jump on a call/text or FaceTime. We live by treating others, as we would treat ourselves.

Thank you for taking the time to read our statement, it is with the upmost appreciation. We look forward to earning your trust and business.
