You can use it as a tube amplifier booster, when you want a soft distortion with a clean amplifier, or one. This is an individual from the "2nd REISSUE" period following the "1st Reissue", which was equipped with an operational amplifier of the same type as the final period of the '80s, and was released as the first tube screamer REISSUE in the '90s. It is a bit different from the current version that is currently sold newly.
