A beautiful 2015 Fender Standard Stratocaster made in Mexico up for sale. This guitar is in excellent condition with only two minor cosmetic issues. First, in the eighth photo you will notice a small hairline crack in the finish at the neck pocket. Unfortunately, this can be a somewhat common issue with these guitars. It has been there since I purchased it new 9 years ago. Second, in photo 10 you will notice a very small scratch on the pickguard. Other than these two minor issues, it is an extremely clean instrument. I have made three upgrades to the guitar. The original string tree was replaced with an American Standard string tree. I had a very well-known and respected local luthier and custom builder Nick Gruber replace the original ceramic pickups with custom hand wound alnico single coil pickups. They were spec'd to replicate that vintage early 60's Strat sound. I've also replaced the original plastic parts with vintage parchment-colored pickup covers, nobs, and switch tip. Included is a nice padded gig bag. Don't let this one get away!
