Natraj SHRSMN-1 Professional Shruti Box Side Controls 13-Reed 3C-4C w/Soft Zippered Case

Nataraj Pro brand shruti box. 13 reeds, 3C-4C, with 13 imitation ivory side-mounted controls. Blemishes in the finish occur during the two-month journey from the manufacturer to the US. They are unavoidable and do not affect sound or playability.

The possible combinations of reeds can produce hundreds of sounds. The male shruti has a deeper sound than the female.

To play, open one or more reeds by pushing the toggle to the side, unlatching the integral bellows, and unlatching the reeded side. It is essential that at least one reed be open when you pump the bellows.

Each shruti box has a handle and metal feet for easy placement during play. It also comes with a soft zippered case for storage and transport. Color may vary from photo. Approximate measurements: 16" L x 12" W x 2.75" D.

Blemished, or Scratch & Dent, products are new and unused with superficial irregularities that do not affect the playability or sound quality of the instrument. The irregularities may include, finish blisters, scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, rust or pitting on metals, imperfect glazes, non-structural repairs such as putty in nail holes, or other surface marks. These blemished products have codes which end in -1(s) and -2(s). A product designated as -1 or -1S has minor blemishes and a product code ending in -2 or -2S has moderate blemishes and/or minor repairs.
