This one-of-kind instrument has the coolest, most vibrant wood tone I've ever heard from a ukulele. That's the satin finish, cedar top and TRU-R bracing talking. Of course, all that rich, yummy koa on the B&Ss doesn't hurt. And Kanile'a satin? Come on. It's cool and contemporary, yet woody and broken in.
Oh, and it's truly incredible to look at and hold.
Ebony bridge, fretboard and faceplate. Satin mahogany neck with strap button. K&K Aloha Twin PU. I recently strung it with D’Addario Titaniums and a 028” gauge, wound guitar string from Labella and I like this combo a lot.
