This is a guitar that I impulsively bought because I wanted to modify it. It started life as a Mexican Fender Lead III reissue with a black pickguard and Pau Ferro neck. I decided to create an aluminum pickguard from scratch for it as well as take the original neck off and attach a Mexican maple Stratocaster neck. Now the guitar is very unique and cool but sonically stock.
Note: there is a large circular boognish sticker on the back
