A 6.5x14" Ludwig "Symphonic" Model snare drum date stamped 1960. Blue and gold transition badge, eight classic lugs, Classic strainer with original, individually adjustable snare wires, red felt baseball bat muffler. The drum has been rewrapped in white marine pearl, and the hoops are also contemporary triple-flanged. The throw-off is a bit sticky and requires two hands to re-engage properly. Crisp and articulate attack, with beefy, warm vintage tone.
