About This Listing

On the forever quest of some pretty wild gear fever, I scooped up this very limited, so like actual ‘boutique’ pedal from the one person operation (as far as i know) operation at DPFX.

If you’re wondering why would someone want a pedal that controls input and output impedance??

Well, have you ever had two pedals that just suck the tone out of each other when connected together. for some reason, that germanium fuzz always sounds terrible late in the chain right?

Or does having a wah pedal really mess w your other pedals?

Do some pedals react unpredictably depending on what guitar or instrument you have plugged in?

speaking of instruments, have you ever wanted to plug your keyboard into an older pedal but it always distorted?

This is the pedal that solves that.

On top of that, it’s transformer floated for hum-free performance and adds the color and saturation of the transformer depending how you drive it

Issues occur when the impedance between two pedals is mismatched. Imagine every input and output jack like their own little personal flowing rivers. when two pedals are matched properly, both rivers have water flowing in the same direction and the waters are calm. when your signal goes for a swim, it has no problem moving along to the next pedal.

When the pedals are mismatched, then your toan has to swim thru but one river is rapid and flowing reallly fast, and the other one isn’t, so the tone gets bashed up and worn out from having to swim upstream so hard to make it to the next pedal.

What a flippin’ analogy.

anyway, with this pedal, you can control the waters… you control how matched (or mismatched) you want your pedals to be.

this makes every pedal very customizable in tone.

plus noise? it has a ground flip. are you using it in parallel with something else ? it has a phase flip too.

utility pedal? yes.

analog saturation and tone control? yes

secret weapon? yes.

early serial #21 for the collectors out there? yes.

I’m pretty sure when i bought this, the maker wasn’t using labeled boxes, but if i find the box, i’ll include it.

Oh, and free cable so you can get to it .. right away.

I’ll ship it fast and safe.

thank you.
