This is a 1950s style J-45 with all the vintage inspired detailing from the golden era of Gibson.
This is not the J-45 standard 50's or original reissue commonly seen; this is a Gibson Custom Shop product It has a Red (Adirondack) Spruce top and very select Mahogany back and sides; the sunburst is just gorgeous on this guitar; single ply, subtly antiqued binding; cream button tuners, a 50s-era tortoise pick guard.
Very sharp and very strong voiced; presence with lots of volume unplugged... it booms. Plugged in... through the LR Baggs® VTC pickup produces a realistic and most natural-sounding tone.
This guitar is in the same condition as when i took it out of the box and uncased it the first time. Still has a newish smell. Has about 30 hours of play time and never been out of my studio. The original bridge pins are included (they are white Tusq material); I upgraded the bridge pins to a fossilized, black dot walrus as shown in the photos.
