Custom “Beautown” Akai MPC3000 built for Beau Dozier By Forat Electronics in Studio City, CA

As far as I can tell it is an heavily upgraded and decorated MPC3000 that functions about the same as a standard. Just better.

New screen professionally installed within the past ten years by previous owner. fully functioning.

Beaus credits include: Snoop dog, Tupac, Jennifer Lopez, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys and the list goes on! I cannot confirm what sessions this unit has been used on.

It is not in excellent physical condition but seems to function as it should. It looks like it was his workhorse. The side rails have some cracks at the top near the screw holes I assume from it flying in the road case. All that being said, it’s nothing that affects the functionality of the unit and the main body isnt bent or damaged. I’ve been tempted to get the wood rail upgrade but I dig the contrast of the white and it adds a bit of character the way it is.

Includes matching custom Anvil flight case. Case is in great condition.

It is the only one like it in existence. I’ve been debating what to list it at.
