Here for sale we have a Gibson J-45 Slash Signature Acoustic guitar in Vermillion Burst finish. Built in the USA in 2019, this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising a Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound, whilst the top is adorned with multi-stripe purfling and rosette. This instrument is fitted with Chrome Grover Rotomatic tuning machines and features a LR Baggs VTC pickup with discreet soundhole mounted controls for volume and tone.

The Gloss finished neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Custom Slash rounded C-neck profile offering ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and with its 16” radius provides a consistent playing surface making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst also catering for both bold chordal work and subtle finger styles of playing. The classic J-45 body shape fills the arms nicely, giving a lively and responsive playing experience, with a sound that can really be felt. The discreet soundhole mounted controls offer comprehensive command of your tone whilst not affecting the look of the guitar.

The acoustic voice is clear and direct, with a warm, rounded low end, tight mids and a crisp, articulate top end, all without sounding overly bright. This guitar provides a full-bodied resonance and a brilliant sustain thanks to the Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing design. This allows the guitar to resonate freely because the reduced mass of the bracing restricts the soundboard less. The LR Baggs VTC pickup captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, whilst keeping things simple offering hassle free tone adjustments. Overall a stunning guitar in both sonically and aesthetically

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck or fingerboard.

Body: Overall excellent condition, very light indentation to the rear is visible under light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Any other markings to the body are difficult to discern.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
