We present an original 1964 C.F. Martin D-18. Made in Nazareth, PA.

The Martin D-18 has been a workhorse for country, gospel, folk, and other forms of American vernacular music. This 1964 C.F. Martin D-18 acoustic guitar is built at the old factory just before they moved the factory later in 1964 . The original Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working order. It has the dreadnought body style with a spruce top w/ mahogany back and sides as well as a dark rosewood fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay.

Original pickguard and binding are tortoise celluloidon the typically rounded-edge headstock. It is way more lightly constructed than later ’60s examples. Overall, this flat top is in great shape for its age. Typical play-wear, nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Sounds and plays absolutely fantastic.
