This is a 1971 Martin D-18 Acoustic Guitar, Serial Number 289725. This guitar had one single owner since the original purchase and was played lightly over the years. Included with the instrument is the original sales receipt from Sam Ash Music in Westbury, NY dated January 25th 1972 and a Hand Signed letter from Frank H. Martin and Original Care Instructions (pamphlet) Additionally, there are strings, picks a tuner and other accessories in the case. This is an all inclusive sale which includes the case.
This fine instrument was just serviced by an authorized Martin repairmen who performed a neck reset, fret dress and installed a new pick guard. The instrument is in "excellent" condition and sounds amazing. I've got a video of the guitar being played on Thursday, April 4th, 2024 which I can share with you if you're curious.
