This is a tuba mouthpiece shank ONLY made by Doug Elliott in raw unplated brass. This shank will need to be paired with a Doug Elliott 'L' depth mouthpiece cup. This shank has Doug's 'F' backbore for use with F or Eb tubas, and the 'Am' taper to fit standard/American mouthpiece receivers.
The threads are in perfect condition, and the shank has never been dented or knocked out-of-round in any way. Some light insertion marks and abrasions are visible, but do not affect playability in any way.
