This particular model was made in 2020. The top brace is forward shifted and the nut width is 44.5mm, which is the latest version of the D-28 to meet modern needs.
Shallow dings, light scratches, and cloudy paint can be seen on the back and sides, but are not noticeable. The top shows only a few scuffs and scratches, with even the pickguard showing few play marks. The satin paint on the back of the neck is a bit dull, but the frets are still high enough to show some signs of use and damage. A strap pin has been retrofitted to the back of the neck heel.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together, and more than 90% of the fret height remains.
It has the deep resonance of a D-28, but also has a good treble drop, giving it a well-balanced sound. This is one of our recommended guitars.
