2022 Martin D-18 Authentic 1939 VTS Aged

A Pre-owned guitar that was purchased new May 2022 (original receipt is in the case), and not played. Was in a LARGE unplayed collection in a smoke free, climate controlled home. All case goodies are intact & the case is Martin's beautiful Custom Shop version. Really nice case.

Looks and sounds like it’s been played for 80 years, except there's zero fret wear- doesn't "need" a neck re-set & the neck is straight! This very mildly relic's version of the acclaimed D-18 Authentic 1939 includes all of the goodness that comes with Martin’s Authentic Series instruments, like hide glue construction and hand-scalloped X-bracing—plus the Vintage Tone System (VTS) that ages the wood to replicate the sound of a vintage Martin. But we didn’t stop there. We’ve now taken this amazing model and methodically, painstakingly distressed it, inside and out, in all the right places. The result is a tactile, visual, and auditory experience that will transport you all the way back to the 1930s. And we know you’re going to like it there. Even has massive, smelly dust bunnies and remnants of broken Herco picks inside- to enhance the realistic vintage tone, old pick rattle & that familiar odor. (just kidding).

I will state that THIS one has that huge D-18 "Thump" and overall traditional sweet D-18 volume & tone. It will NOT disappoint!
