This is the D-28! The sound of horsepower!

The Martin D-28 is the foundation of today's acoustic guitars. In an era when there were no pickups or even PAs, a guitar with a rich sound was long awaited, and the D-28 was the answer. Since 1934, when the D-28 with a 14-fret joint was introduced, it has remained popular as a guitar for all genres and styles of playing. Like the Levis 501, this model is one of the symbols of historical American items.
This particular guitar was made in 2011. It features a non-scallop, non-forward-shift brace, low-profile neck with 42.9mm nut width, black pickguard, Grover Rotomatic pegs, and gold leaf logo.
Scattered dings and scratches, some wear on the first and second frets of the fingerboard, slight partial fogging of the gloss-finish paint film, and some speckling of the satin-finish paint film on the back of the neck can be seen, but no damage that is noticeable or affects playing comfort. There is a history of binding removal correction, and L.R. Baggs Anthem pickups have been retrofitted.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed and are approximately 80% high. Both playability and sound are perfect.
This is a D-28 with a non-scalloped, non-forward-shifted brace that gives the sound of a D-28. The L.R. Baggs Anthem is included, so you can enjoy an airy, high-quality sound on stage as well. We recommend this guitar.
