Up for sale is my magnificent example of the 2014 Les Paul Standard Plus AAAA Top 120th Anniversary. This guitar is killer. It’s in excellent condition, with no apparently discernible wear. I’ve owned dozens of LP’s over the years, and this is the best Standard I’ve played. This thing has been a well maintained and cared for its entire life. Comes with the original case and all paperwork/candy. While just about everything Gibson built in 2014 was marked as 120th Anniversary models, these Standard Plus’ were a limited run. From what I understand, there were only 120 made, and 2/3 went to foreign markets.
Gibson really wanted to equip these things with the best features.
-AAAA Flame Maple Plus Top
-Mahogany body, guitar weighing 8.2lbs on my scale
-60’s asymmetrical slim-taper neck
-Compound Radius Rosewood fretboard
-Burstbucker Pro 1 & 2 Pickups
-Push/Pull Knobs (all 4) for coil tapping, polarity reversing, phase changing, and pure bypass for ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES OF TONE!
-GraphTech nut, Oversized No-Slip strap buttons, factory PLEK, and the vintage brown, pink lined case
-Chrome Tone Pros T-O-M Bridge and Tailpiece
-Min-ETune tuning system*
* IYKYK about these Min-ETune (Robot) tuners. The robots on this guitar were replaced with standard ivory key Gibson Deluxe locking tuners. The original robot system, the keys, all hardware, and the charging cable are included in the case. I just tested the robot system on a spare guitar build, and it works perfectly as new. It also originally came with an “E-Tune” truss cover, which is also included in the case, but was replaced with the regular “Standard” TRC.
