This great New Yorker sized model is the latest addition to the Pro 3 Series of guitars from Takamine. The CP3NYK has a 12-fret neck joint to take full advantage of the small New Yorker body. Small body guitars create focused notes that are full of "fundamental", and lighter on overtones. This makes them popular for fingerstyle. This model has a red cedar top, paired with back and sides of beautiful Hawaiian koa. Koa ia a silky tonewood that combines the sheen of rosewood with the syrupy mids of mahogany. This guitar features natural wood inlays and rosette, gold hardware, and Takamine's legendary electronics.
