About This Listing

A true vintage classic, recently professionally serviced, calibrated, and upgraded with the Tubbutec Juno-66 microcontroller (which includes MIDI i/o as well as a bunch of other features like monophonic and duophonic modes, portamento (yes!), chord memory, an additional envelope for the filter, and other cool functions).

Functionally the keyboard works perfectly, has recently had all its sliders and switches replaced, the dust blockers replaced, the memory battery replaced, the plug upgraded to a nice long grounded one, etc. I want to be clear that this is a 40+ year old vintage analog synthesizer with true magick/mojo/whatever lurking within, and you should keep that in mind, as when buying any vintage gear. That said, I can't imagine one of these working any better than this unless it's new old stock (and maybe not even then, because the batteries/caps/etc. might have gone bad in the box). The keyboard has some physical marks of wear (as I said, it's over 40 years old) that you can see in the photos, most notably the end cheek laminate is chipped/peeling on the edges a bit, and a couple keys have discoloration; one has an era-appropriate cigarette burn. (I can provide more pictures if you're interested, or obviously you can look at it in person.)

The Juno comes with a no-logo heavy duty dust cover from Custom Amp Covers and a semi-hard Kaces gig bag that fits it very well.

If you are in the New England area and you're able to do a local pickup, I'd be willing to negotiate on prie so as to not have to ship this.

Happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks!

Product Overview
The Roland Juno-60 is a 61-key six-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer manufactured by Roland between 1982 and 1984. The successor to the Roland Juno-6, the Juno-60 adds a patch memory of 56 presets while keeping many of the same features. It offers on-board chorus effects, digitally-controlled analog oscillators, low-pass and high-pass filters, and the option to arpeggiate and sequence notes when connected with the JSQ-60 sequencer. Although it doesn't offer MIDI functionality like its successor the Roland Juno-106, the Juno-60 is often regarded as having a better sound than the Juno-106. The Juno series is renowned for its influence on electronic music, and the Juno-60 is considered a classic vintage synth after its use by artists such as Vince Clarke, The Cure, Eurythmics, and Enya.
