About This Listing
A used '62 J-45 reissue model made in 1998 is now in stock.
The top is made of Sitka spruce and the sides and back are made of mahogany. This model mimics the 1962 look and is a rare model that was released for a short time in the 1990s. Although the notation is "62," the appearance is similar to the current 1950s J-45 original vintage sunburst, with straight saddle, single ring rosette, large pickguard, and white button cruson pegs. The mahogany has a warm and wild sound, and the narrow neck makes it easy to play.
Overall, there are some minor scratches and dings, dull metal parts, weather checks, and paint dulling. On the top, next to the sound hole on the first string side, there is what appears to be tape residue, but details are unknown. The pickguard is progressively shrinking. There is also some paint peeling along the binding on the first string side of the top and next to the fingerboard. The neck is in proper condition, and the truss rod adjustment range is confirmed to be 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together and are not uneven, with around 80% height remaining. Sound and playability are perfect.
