2020 Gibson Made 2 Measure 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue First Burst

Neck profile is .90 inch at first fret and 1.2 inch at the twelfth fret.

I’ve owned several reissues and this is easily one of the best.

Gorgeous curly/flamed top. Gorgeous grain in the back and neck.

Made 2 Measure Gibsons are really a cut above the rest.

This Les Paul is spec'd to the very first sunburst Les Paul ever made.

They really did an excellent job recreating it. Even the maple top looks very close.

It originally came with the nickel bridge pickup cover removed, like the original, but I reinstalled the included nickel cover, because believe it or not, I can hear a difference tonally. It sounds more balanced to my ears with it on.

It’s easily reversible if you want that look and the slightly brighter sound.

Guitar only has one slight ding that I can find. It’s on the back near the jack and clearly shown in the last pic. I touched it up with a Stew Mac lacquer pen, so now you can barely see it.

I swapped the original plastic jack plate with a nickel Gibson USA plate, to preserve the plastic reissue plate.

I also installed a set of nickel Dunlop Strap Locks.

All the original hardware and case candy/COA/hang tags are included and pictured.

Comes with the original aged Gibson babydoll case.

Guitar weighs in at a PERFECT 8.6lbs. It’s solid mahogany and not chambered at all, just like the First Burst.

Awesome vintage tone and sustains and resonates for days.

This is a monster sounding and playing Les Paul.
