The all-new Archer Select allows for players to switch between 7 different clipping diode options—in other words, that's all the modified variations of the Archer released over time packed into a single enclosure.
Ever since the legendary Klon was first unveiled by Bill Finnegan nearly 30 years ago, players have sworn by its coveted, harmonically rich approach to overdrive. Over time J Rockett has developed several variations on the initial theme through their series of Archer pedals, which have now been combined in the form of the Archer Select.
Stomp on the right footswitch to engage the K-style drive circuit featuring OA10 diodes. Meanwhile, the left footswitch activates the diode knob allowing players to compare and contrast between the diodes. Simply use the clipping dial on board—arranged by output from low to high—and you can settle on the authentic drive tone that best suits your needs. The Archer Select also comes equipped with a D.I. speaker simulator, complete with a ground switch, for players who want to plug in straight into the box without an amp.
The Archer Select comes in two variants: the gold standard, and a deluxe limited edition in KTR red, the latter of which J Rockett is selling directly on Reverb.
