Overview
The second version of the Telecaster Bass was introduced toward the end of 1971, having it more closely resemble the Telecaster Custom that would take the world by storm the following year. These basses have a 3-bolt neck, a humbucking pickup, and were offered with the choice of maple or rosewood fretboards. The original run of the Telecaster Bass (more accurately, a '51 Precision Bass reissue) can be found here.
