Developed in tandem with Wycliffe Gordon and Andy Martin, the Yamaha YSL-891Z Custom Z Tenor Trombone is built from the ground up for jazz trombonists after a flexible instrument that retains rich sound.


  • Body: Yellow brass body and hand-hammered bell with interchangeable lead pipes

  • Slides: Drawn yellow brass outer slide and chrome-plated nickel silver inner slide

  • Bore: 0.508" with 8" diameter bell

  • Other Features: 45C2 mouthpiece, medium shank, epoxy lacquer finish
