Arturia Officially Unveils the PolyBrute

With the news leaking yesterday via Sound on Sound and Gear News, Arturia has made it official today: The PolyBrute is real.

The most powerful entrant (by a stretch) of the Brute series, the PolyBrute expands on the sonic architecture of the MatrixBrute to give six analog voices, complex multi-axis controls, and enough sound design capabilities to keep you busy for decades.

You can blend between multiple waveshapes, or use the PolyBrute's "Morph" abilities to move between two states within any given patch. There are 768 presets to start, 96-point digital patchbay, loads of modulation effects, delays, and reverbs, and a built-in 64-step sequencer/arpeggiator.

What's more is that Arturia promises seamless integration with your DAW, allowing you to edit and organize your favorite parameters and presets, and easily record.

Other features, according to Arturia, include:

  • Mono, Unison, Poly voicing
  • Single, Split, Layer modes
  • 61-keys with Velocity and Aftertouch
  • Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel, Ribbon controllers
  • Morphée touch and pressure sensitive 3D controller
  • Noise Generator
  • Osc and Noise Mixer with Filter routing
  • 12dB/Oct Steiner Parker Filter
