Elektron's New Model:Cycles Is an Affordable FM-Based Groovebox

Today, Elektron adds a second groovebox to its Model line with the launch of the Model:Cycles, an all-in-one beat creation platform built on a six-track FM synthesis engine.

The Model:Cycles—which retails for $299 USD—gives you drum sounds, synth sounds, and chords at the touch of a button, with Elektron's renowned sequencing offering endless ways to compose and change tracks.

Like the Model:Samples released last year, the layout of the machine is simple and intuitive by design, with most knobs serving one function and letting you make music immediately instead of scrolling through settings.

Elektron's Model:Cycles overview.
