Learn To Play: No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age (via Coach Guitar)

It's no secret that we're big Queens of the Stone Age fans over here at Reverb. We've obsessed over Josh Homme's guitar tones with a Queens edition of our Potent Pairings series and chatted with guitarist Troy Van Leewan about Jazzmasters and fuzz pedals in advance of the launch of the now–sold–out QOTSA Reverb Shop.

When our friends at Coach Guitar reached out to showcase one of their interactive lesson videos here on Reverb, a QOTSA song was the obvious pick. Coach Guitar chose “No One Knows” from Songs for the Deaf. It's one of the band's best known songs off one of their most popular albums, and learning it is a great entryway to understanding Josh Homme's playing style.

To get started, you'll have to tune your guitar to C Standard (C–F–Bb–Eb–G–C). To follow the color coded guide on the virtual fretboard, note that Red is your index finger, Blue is your middle finger, Green is your ring finger, Yellow is your pinky.
