Video: Blackstar Introduces the Unity Pro Bass Line of Bass Amps at NAMM 2018

Bass fans rejoice: Blackstar is releasing its first ever line of bass amplifiers. In the video above, Joe had a chance to catch up with Steve of Blackstar on the NAMM floor in Anaheim to talk over the new Unity Pro line and hear how they sound.

Steve walked us through the line, which includes five combo options: 30-watts, 60-watts, 120-watts, 250-watts, and 500-watts. Each amp itself is versatile, with three different voicings for your preamp, three different styles of response for your power amp, three choices of drive with an independent blend, a three-band EQ, and built-in chorus and octave effects.

All of the amps also feature Blackstar's "Cablink," which is an XLR balance connection to a 250-watt active extension cab that's compatible with all of the five combo amps. Multiple extension cabs can also be daisy-chained together for big power needs at larger venues.
